[DEPIN] STARPOWER | PREVIEW

 

I'm currently in the process of reviewing a test plug provided by STARPOWER, which I received via international courier. For quick information, I'm posting a brief product review first.

Preview

The initial impression of the product is that it's not much different from the typical IOT smart plugs available on the market. The positioning of the socket, the power button, and even the clicking sound when toggling the power button on/off are all similar.

The size of the product is slightly larger than other IOT products available on the market. When using it with a 2-way plug, it may affect other plugs.

 

Pairing a plug

The pairing between the app and the plug is a simple process that takes less than a minute.

1. Access the "Device" menu in the app and press "Claim your Starplug" to start the pairing process.

2. Press the power button for 2-6 seconds to quickly flash the LED.

3. Connect to WIFI and input device information to bind the plug.

4. Once you specify the current location, the connection is complete.

 

 

 

IOT & Mining

The test plug currently only provides IOT functionality. Like typical smart plugs,

it offers on/off functionality and displays power consumption.

 

 

 

However, the mining feature is not activated, so I couldn't verify the mining output.

 

Conclusion

Products haven't delivered yet, and there are no actual product reviews available, so I quickly posted this review.

I'll take some time to use the product and update with any missing details later.
